Die erste Zone umfasst die EAI, welche die organisationsinternen Applikationen umfasst. Die zweite Zone enth\u00e4lt alle Applikationen der GP (B2B) bzw. Beh\u00f6rden (B2A). Im Normalfall integriert der Integrationsarchitekt diese \u00fcber entsprechende Intermedi\u00e4re, wie in Kap. 8.2 als MSP beschrieben. Oft verwenden die Fachapplikationen diese Intermedi\u00e4re direkt. EDI-Integrationen sind jedoch meist via die Integration Middleware zum EDI Service Provider verbunden. Bei einer asynchronen Integration erfolgt diese \u00fcber einen Message Broker&nbsp;(Message Oriented Middleware, MOM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Integration Middleware (IM) bildet die Datendrehscheibe der Organisation. Sie bietet die passenden APIs f\u00fcr alle internen Apps, wie Fach- und Querschnittsapplikationen, wie Office-Suite, Groupware, WfMS, Mail-Server, DWH usw. an. F\u00fcr den Zugriff auf die Schnittstellen der internen Apps bzw. der Service Provider stehen meist Konnektoren zur Verf\u00fcgung. Ob die IT die organisationsinternen Applikationen On Premises oder in der Cloud betreibt, ist f\u00fcr diese Darstellung unerheblich. Denkbar w\u00e4re zu Informationszwecken die Darstellung mittels zwei Paketen.
